Luminous Sound Ceremony
with Sheela Bringi & Brent Kuecker of the Sacred Sound Lab
Expand your perception of the reality of sound and music
in the world, and discover its power as a vehicle for awakening.
In this Ceremony you will:
- Engage Yogic Sound meditation from tāntric source texts – with the aim to establish your awareness in blissful and deeply relaxed presence
- Experience the revelatory power of the tonal colors and nectarian moods (rasas) of Indian melody (rāga)
- Repose in śavāsana, into a state of profound relaxation, luminous wellbeing, and insight
- Practice all of the above with live Indian instrumentation: bansuri (bamboo flute), 36-string rāga harp, harmonium, tambūra, and Sheela’s voice
The ceremony will begin with gentle movement and vocal toning and conclude with sanskrit chanting for the peace & wellbeing of self and all.
Forge a deeper relationship with sound, music, and speech in this Luminous Sound Ceremony
